Three More Days!!!!

Happy Wednesday!

I am THREE short days away from Opening Day for the softball season!!!! Yikes.
We’ve been practicing for a few weeks now, but there’s really nothing like playing in an actual game.
Every year at the start of the first game I’m suddenly like “Oh my God….this is actually a game….I have to start paying attention now!!!”
Whatever…I’m sure I’ll be fine.
We’re in a new division this year, so I’m not exactly sure how that will turn out. Ultimately, I think it’s going to be a great season and should be very competitive….but still a lot of fun.
AND – we’ll be playing against RG’s team….which is always a good time.

Jim and I watched American Idol last night….I think it was a very good night, but it’s time for Matt to go home.
From best to worst I thought it was Danny, Kris, Allison, Adam, and Matt.
Adam really doesn’t do a thing for me. I don’t like the sound of his voice, and I just don’t enjoy watching him perform. It really astounds me that the judges adore every single thing he does. I’m sure he’ll be around for a while and I wouldn’t be surprised if he won the whole thing….but I’m just not on the bandwagon.
We shall see!

I’m going to do some work now….and have breakfast.
There’s a rumbly in my tumbly.
Speaking of...Winnie the Pooh’s voice has always annoyed me to no end…so maybe I’m the one that has issues.

We're SO going to give your team a run for the money!

What's going to be funny though, is watching our out-of-shape asses huff and puff running around the softball field.

And remember, the Paradise Pirates have a saying, "Surrender Your Booty - Arrrrrrrrrrh!"

I don't think I've played against your team for a long time. I must have missed the games we played against you in recent years.

"Surrender your booty" is VERY funny.

I think the rest of my team is in decent shape...I'm the only one that's going to have a struggle. Thankfully, as the catcher, the only time I really have to move is when I'm circling the bases. :-)
