Starve a Cold, Feed a Fever???

Isn't that what they say? According to some online articles I read this morning on the subject, you shouldn't ever 'starve' yourself when you're not feeling well.
Not that I ever intended on doing such a ridiculous thing.

I like food WAY too much for that. ;-)

I think I'm coming down with a cold - but I'm DETERMINED to fight it off. Right now, I'm just experiencing an awful sore and raw feeling at the very tip-top of my throat. I took some heavy-duty cold medicine this morning and I plan on taking it every 4 hours (as directed).
I'm going to head out later this morning and grab some sort of lozenges (excellent word!) as well, in addition to drinking as much water as I possibly can.

Normally, I wouldn't go after a cold with such a vengeance, but I have F-I-V-E more shows to get through this weekend!!!! I certainly can't disappoint my public. :-)

In other news, I can't believe that tonight is the last episode of ER.

No...not THAT ER!!!!

Actually, that was E/R (clearly the slash makes all the difference) and I LOVED that show!!!

"Back of white line!!!"

Anyway....

ER wasn't one of those shows that I watched every week for it's entire TV life - although there certainly were stretches of time when I wouldn't miss it - but I always enjoyed the show.

No show made me cry more than that show did. And any show that employs both John Stamos and Kellie Martin can't be all that bad!!!

Thankfully, it will live on forever in syndication where I can watch it and cry my face off, without worrying about staying up too late.

Well...tomorrow is Friday and I'm happy, happy, happy about that.

Have a good day my wonderful readers....

Opposite. Feed a cold. Starve a fever. But not for you. Cinnamon and Raisin Bagel for dinner. Ugg...

No more deepthroating for awhile...

Get some airborne Vitamin C stuff. I hear it gets rid of what could be the start of a cold. Someone here swears by it.

I cried hysterically when Dr. Green died on ER. I was a complete basket case. I've never reacted like that to any other show. Get your box of tissues ready for tonight (if you are watching it).
